1980’s Vintage F1 Yixing Factory Tea Set – Teacup, plate and 4 cups #4 [ORIGNAL BOX]

A tea set from the famous state-owned Yixing No. 1 factory, which used authentic and pure clays from local mines. The factory was closed in 1998, and teapots from the F1 Yixing Factory began to be sought after by collectors around the world.

The set was produced in the first half of the 1980s (around 1983-85)

Teapot: Nei Zi Wai Hong clay (Purple Zini clay covered with a layer of red Hongni clay on the outside)

Teapot capacity: 130 ml

Plate and cups (capacity approx. 10 ml, so they are quite useless, but they are part of original set): neiwalinjiang clay – zini clay completely covered with a layer of hongni clay.

The teapot and other elements may have irregularities, traces of tools, and defects resulting from firing. These are standard features of vessels from this period.

The price of this set has been reduced because the teapot has a darkening, a type of defect caused during firing. It does not reduce the utility value.
