Real stuff for pu-erh enthusiasts and all tea nerds!

Shu cha produced in 2017 from wild and ancient trees growing near Vị Xuyên in Ha Giang province of Vietnam.

Trees grown in crystal clear environment – no fertilizers, no herbicides are used there.

Raw leaves after the phase of wodui (pile fermentation) typical for shu pu-erh were compressed into bamboo tubes and then dried over strong campfire. This was of tea preservation and preparation is very old and it has been used there for centuries!

To be honest: it’s a whisky style puerh! You will find here notes of campfire, wood, incenses, herbs and spices and amazingly clean mineral notes.

After years of storage smoky notes are not too dominant – they are rather one of key elements that create taste profile of this unique pu-erh.

Important note: each tube contains 150-200g tea inside. We are not able to check it without breaking the bamboo tube. Please take it into consideration while making order. When ordering 30g sample – you will receive chunk of tea packed in zip-lock bag without bamboo.
