2018 Shui Xian arrived. Really rich, classic and highly recommended. 

Great example of traditional well roasted Shui Xian made in famous Lian Hua Feng area. Very fruity taste is combined with highly mineral character and medium-high level of roasting makes this tea very powerful. When you compare it with Tian Xin Yan Shui Xian from our offer, you will see Lian Hua Feng Shui Xian is stronger, less subtle, more masculine. Good to order both and compare how different the tea from the same cultivar can be.

Tea Varietal: Shui Xian

Age of tea trees: more than 30 year old

Temperature of water and amount of leaves: 100 C 5g/100ml.
Suggested brewing method: Yixing clay teapot or gaiwan of low capacity. First, you should pre-heat empty teapot/gaiwan and tea cups with boiling water. When the teapot is warmed, then you put the tea leaves in. After smelling hot and dry leaves in the pot, gently pour the boiling water to the pot.  First infusion should be very short- not more than 10 second. We suggest to increase brewing time for 5-10 seconds in each next brewing.
