Wild, high mountain and charcoal roasted oolong! Should we ask for more?

High-end oolong in my humble opinion.

Tea comes from the garden which is a small, beautiful ecosystem – with bird’s nests in the bushes, spider webs and lots of flying insects flying around freely. With no risk from pesticides or herbicides.

Few times a year weeds are manually removed from the space between tea bushes.

Garden like this is something we need to understand because here almost all younger leaves are instantly eaten by the bugs so the tea can by only made from the strongest, older leaves that are hard enough to fight with bugs.

Producing a good tea from wild leaves requires skill and experience, as these leaves require different processing at each stage of the teamaking process!

A medium oxidation level and a medium charcoal roast (longan wood) create a tea with a rich yet balanced profile and amazingly clean aftertaste.

You’ll find here notes of roasted cereals, milk chocolate, freeze-dried strawberries, honey, and nuts.

Originally packaged in 75g vacuum packaging. Smaller weights are shipped in our zip-lock packaging.
