Real gem from spring harvest in Dong Ding. Directly from the Mr. Chen’s garden.

Amazing charcoal roasted Dong Ding oolong form the garden we always visit when we are in Taiwan. One of the highest elevation gardens in Lugu area.

Tea was roasted for 72 hours what sounds bit crazy, but the roaster set the baking temperatures on medium level to not burn the leaves and to not loose the true character of tea.

When you see the leaves: they are still green and very small. We used this time only youngest spring leaves.

Taste profile: roasted cereals, wood, dehydrated strawberries and raspberries, incenses, baked nuts, honey, well baked bread.

Sweet, traditional, nutty…with excellent sugary aftertaste!

Highly recommended for Dong Ding oolong lovers!
