The highest quality Dancong tea of the Ju Duo Zai bush (saw toothed leaves), also known as Xin Ren Xiang (almond aroma).
It comes from 50 years old trees located in the Fun Nan area, where the oldest mother trees of this variety grow.
Very aromatic, sweet and complex tea with a full, but balanced flavour.
Taste profile: fresh, sweet almonds, white flowers (orchid, wildflowers), ripe tropical fruits. Intriguing, full and sweet aftertaste. Slightly herbal nuances in the background.
Amazing mouthfeel and strong huigan (returning sweetness).
This is a Dancong with a relatively low level of oxidation.
However, it was roasted in the traditional way – over charcoal from the longan tree.

Origin: Qiao Tou village, Fenghuang, Guangdong, China
Harvest: spring 2025
Cultivar/Tree Variety: Ju Duo Zai 锯朵仔 – “saw toothed leaves” known also as Xin Ren Xiang 杏仁香 – almond aroma
Temperature of water and amount of leaves: 100 C 6g/100ml.
Suggested brewing method: Yixing clay teapot or gaiwan of low capacity. First, you should pre-heat empty teapot/gaiwan and tea cups with boiling water. When the teapot is warmed, then you put the tea leaves in. After smelling hot and dry leaves in the pot, gently pour the boiling water to the pot. First infusion should be very short- not more than 10 second. We suggest to increase brewing time for 5-10 seconds in each next brewing.
