Black tea from small island of Yakushima, where Watanabe family produce teas according to organic cultivation. Zero pesticides and herbicides are used in the garden.
Yakushima island is one of the places where spring starts very early: one of earliest in whole Japan. It’s also area protected by UNESCO program.
This black tea made from beautiful and big leaves was picked and produced in the first spring harvest of 2025.
Liquor is balanced, sweet and flowery. You will find here notes of osmanthus flowers, peaches, honey and home-made cookies.
Also some pleasant fruity-sour nuances are here (like plums and tropical fruits).
