Without any doubt this is the best Second Flush Darjeeling we have ever tasted!
It comes from very small, few-kilo batch almost entirely produced by hand.
In this artisan tea you will find not only typical “second flush” notes of ripe muscat grapes and aromatic spices but also strong honey and fruity elements.
Notes of exotic fruits (mango, peach) bring to mind the Taiwanese Oriental Beauty Oolong and black teas known as ‘Mi Xiang’ (honey aroma).
You’ll also find subtle hints of pinewood here.

Garden altitude: 400-1350 m. above sea level
Cultivar: Clonal AV2
Temperature of water and amount of leaves: 90-100 C. 2,5-3,5g/100ml or more “gong fu cha” style with 4g/100 ml but with keeping very short infusions.
Suggested brewing method: as you wish. I recommend “european”, longer steeping times like 1:30-2:00 min, and each next infusion a little bit longer.
