Is is really hard to find good quality Bai Mu Dan. It is usually sold in China in a very low grades with a simple and plain taste. Bai Mu Dan we offer at TheTea is an example of well prepared White Peony. High amount of fluffy tips and greenish leaves give a very vibrant liqour with elegant grassy taste and litchi notes. We recommend to brew this tea in a lower temperatures, not more than 85 C degree- this way can show a real character of tea: elegant and delicate with quite long aftertaste.

Temperature of water and amount of leaves: 80-85C., 3-4 g/100ml
Suggested brewing method: porcelain gaiwan or teapot. We suggest to use short infusion times, starting from 30-40 sec. Every next prewing should be longer for 10-20sec.
