Nowadays it’s getting hard to find tasty Tie Guan Yin that is compliant with strict EU rules about pesticides residue in tea. Most of Tie Guan Yin in the market are super green and boosted on artificial fertilizers.

But we finally found very nice and affordable Tie Guan Yin produced in organic garden in Anxi, homeland of this kind of oolong!

Our Tie Guan Yin is rather low oxidized and very light roasted.

It’s flowery (white flowers like jasmin, elder blossoms).

Fresh, grassy aroma, thick and sticky sweet taste with amazing notes of white grapes and melon.

Excellent for gong fu cha, but also for casual, everyday drinking.

Description

Origin:  organic garden in Anxi, Fujian, China

Harvest: spring 2023

Cultivar/Tree Variety:  Tie Guan Yin

Temperature of water and amount of leaves: 100 C 5g/100ml.

Suggested brewing method: Yixing clay teapot or gaiwan of low capacity. First, you should pre-heat empty teapot/gaiwan and tea cups with boiling water. When the teapot is warmed, then you put the tea leaves in. After smelling hot and dry leaves in the pot, gently pour the boiling water to the pot.  First infusion should be short- not more than 20-30 second. We suggest to increase brewing time for 15-20 seconds in each next brewing.
