Our blended Da Hong Pao is the strongest roasted yancha we offer in the shop.

Tea was produced in organic garden established 20 years ago in the village located 10 min drive away from Wuyishan Protected Area. That’s why we shouldn’t consider this tea as Zhengyan Cha. It is considered as Banyan cha: the tea produced in the outskirts of Wuyi National Park.

This is the extremely warming tea only for lovers of real, old fashion roasting. Tea was made for long term storage but it’s already very pleasant to drink. 

Here you will find notes of burnt wood, incenses, medicine-herbal nuances and hints of dried fruit. 

Bitterness is low, it turns immediately into long lasting sweet aftertaste.

Origin: organic garden located 10 min drive from the Wuyishan Protected Area, Banyan area, Wuyishan, Fujian, China.

Tea Varietal: blend of different cultivars

Description

Temperature of water and amount of leaves: 100 C 6g/100ml.
Suggested brewing method: Yixing clay teapot or gaiwan of low capacity. First, you should pre-heat empty teapot/gaiwan and tea cups with boiling water. When the teapot is warmed, then you put the tea leaves in. After smelling hot and dry leaves in the pot, gently pour the boiling water to the pot.  First infusion should be very short- less than 10 second.s We suggest to increase brewing time for 5-10 seconds in each next brewing.
