2022 Fengxi Village Mi Lan Xiang Dancong Oolong it’s little bit less “radical” Dancong comparing to our 2022 Li Zai Ping Village Lao Cong Mi Lan Xiang Oolong, wchich is roasted really strong and made from old trees, what makes it really bold and strong tea!

This Dancong comes from natural garden in Fengxi village – for almost 20 years no pesticides and herbicides have been used there!

Tea is few times medium roasted over charcoal, oxidation level is medium too. Tea was harvested in the spring time, but it was ready to sell at the end of 2022 year!

Liquor is full-bodied and extremely aromatic. You will find here notes of pine resin, ripe mango, plums, litchi and strong floral honey nuances. Bitterness is well balanced and well composed with sweet, long-lasting aftertaste.

When you brew this tea… your room is fulfilled with deep fruity and resinous fragrance!

Description

Origin:  Fengxi Village, Chaoshan, Guangdong, China

Harvest: spring 2022

Cultivar/Tree Variety:  Mi Lan Xiang- honey orchid (from Shuixian crossbreeding)

Temperature of water and amount of leaves: 100 C 5-7g/100ml.

Suggested brewing method: Yixing clay teapot or gaiwan of low capacity. First, you should pre-heat empty teapot/gaiwan and tea cups with boiling water. When the teapot is warmed, then you put the tea leaves in. After smelling hot and dry leaves in the pot, gently pour the boiling water to the pot.  First infusion should be very short- not more than 10 second. We suggest to increase brewing time for 5-10 seconds in each next brewing.
